Summarize your story in 75 words or less.
As soon as Ossory Wolf Connor Monaghan meets Madame DuBois, he is certain of two things: the woman isn’t who she claims to be…and she is his mate.
Desperate for money, psychic Veronique Laurant adopts the guise of a society matchmaker. She never predicted her first client would be her destined love.
When the danger stalking Veronique emerges from the shadows, Connor must conquer both the threat and her fears to win his wolf’s match.
What’s a favorite part of your story?
I love how fierce Connor is in protection of his mate, and how much he’s willing to give up in order to conquer her fears.
What/who was the inspiration for your story?
I often spend time in the southern Colorado area and have become interested in the area’s gold mining legacy. Since my true love is for paranormal stories, I dreamed of a historical shifter series. The Wolf’s Match is meant to be a companion to this series (yet to be titled), and is set two generations later.
Name three of your favorite sci-fi or fantasy authors.
JRR Tolkien, Ilona Andrews, and Patricia Brooks.
If you could meet anyone, imaginary or real, in sci-fi or fantasy, who would it be and why?
Galadriel. She was both a fierce and determined warrior, and a very wise queen. I would like to hear of the light of the Valar.
You’re stranded on a desert island, and you can only have one book. Which book do you bring with you and why?
The Lord of the Rings—I know it’s technically three books, but I have a single book with all three!
Tell us about your latest release(s) and what’s coming next for you.
In September 2024, I released The Gargoyle Affair, my twelfth (and last) book in the shared paranormal romance world of the Enchanted Rock Immortals. I’m excited about a new, elemental-based, paranormal romance series releasing I plan to release later this fall.
