When the leader of a dangerous order of mages appears with an irresistible offer, Emily Bright is thrust into a realm of power she can’t refuse. Titus Emery is tasked with honing Emily’s raw talent into a force to be reckoned with, but as Emily’s power grows, so does the undeniable attraction between them; challenging Titus’ rigid self-control and the order’s rules. Emily and Titus discover that mastering their abilities means confronting their deepest desires.

The thrill being around each other gives Emily and Titus. That feeling of attraction that grows palpable.
What/who was the inspiration for your story?
The MCs are reoccurring characters in the world I’m building in my Order and Chaos series, and I wanted them to have their own story. It is inspired by my own obsession with studying ritual magick, shadow work, and sex magick.
Name three of your favorite sci-fi or fantasy authors.
Anne Rice, hands down. Philip Pullman, and Katee Robert. Very different vibes there.
If you could meet anyone, imaginary or real, in sci-fi or fantasy, who would it be and why?
Lestat, because OMFG LESTAT. Iconic. Sexy. Has seen so much of so much.
You’re stranded on a desert island, and you can only have one book. Which book do you bring with you and why?
Jerusalem by Alan Moore, because I’d finally have the uninterrupted time I need to read, analyze, and reanalyze it.
Tell us about your latest release(s) and what’s coming next for you.
The first full novel in the Order and Chaos series will be released in late November. I’m currently writing the second novel.
