After 18 years as a software engineer, Leah retired from tech and started two businesses with my husband—a commercial cleaning company and a restaurant. When not spending time with her husband and daughter, Leah reads and write sci-fi romance.

Summarize your story in 75 words or less.
The arrival of the Imszoranians on planet Somerika decades ago stirred an ancient awakening between interconnected souls. To Alesandra, the illegal matings were a beautiful destiny she was prepared to risk her life to defend. But when an Imszoranian interplanetary marshal, Bakar, is sent to apprehend her, she learns that there is a sinister side to the unions that finally explains why the hated Imszoranians are trying to stop it.
What’s a favorite part of your story?
I always enjoy a good enemies-to-lovers trope, and this story takes it a step further.
What/who was the inspiration for your story?
The story is an introduction to the world my 10 book series is based on.

If you could meet anyone, imaginary or real, in sci-fi or fantasy, who would it be and why?
I feel like my brain is going to explode with this question. Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, anyone who can master the “force”. And Picard. Picard is a must.
You’re stranded on a desert island, and you can only have one book. Which book do you bring with you and why?

Tell us about your latest release(s) and what’s coming next for you?
I’m nearly finished writing all 10 books in my series and will begin editing this fall. I’m planning on the first 3 books to be released in the spring/summer of 2025.
