We do our best work when we are operating at our best. Protecting our time and managing tasks is important. However, running on adrenalin, sleep deprivation, and an over-arching feeling of just not being good enough can derail our plans. Time out! Let’s slow down and look at how we can create smoke detectors—processes and plans–to help us identify burnout before it combusts. Self-care yes, but there is so much more we can do. Communication styles, setting boundaries, and setting goals and plans to keep focused will help. Come and learn how to be the best version of yourself so you can accomplish big goals!

The workshop covers:

  • Ways to spot burnout and how to avoid it
  • Why self-care matters and why it is personal
  • Creating a positive mindset about our work and our role
  • Importance of setting boundaries
  • Improving communication with your family, friends, writers, readers, publishers
  • Identifying priorities and setting goals to stay focused
