Fascinated with end-of-the-world stories? Or what it might be like to live after the end? Or societies gone wrong? This workshop will help you to explore these ideas so you can write stories of your own. Exercises will help you to develop your ideas and draft a short story or opening of a longer piece of fiction. You’ll have the opportunity to post part of your draft, receive feedback, and post your revision for additional feedback if time allows.

About the Instructor:

I am a writer, teacher, writing coach, and mentor. I have over fifteen years of teaching experience and have worked as a writing coach and mentor for over a decade.

I have a BS and master’s in education and am a certified coach.

In the past, I’ve worked at three online publishers as an editor in various capacities.

I’ve published short stories, poetry, and articles online and in print. I’m currently working on two fiction projects (novels).

I live in Fredericksburg, VA with my seven-year-old special needs dog, Franklin.
